What is the escape policy for goverment denationalization?? How do we know taxpayers will not be hung out for more money. I do not think we can ever know. This is one of the most idiotic forms of "Americanized Socialism" yet. Hope the OnStar button still works for ya.....hope you dont need a trade in. The Wilson Labour Government remedy for an ailing industry was to premote more mergers. It still struggled and became(merged...go figure) into,British Leyand Motor Corporation LTD. Partially Nationalized in 1975.With all the mergers, chaos arose along with confusion and competing against themselves. The Company lost track on how to do business. IT FAILED!!
This too must fail, and should...we the people must not allow the government to make money on this deal,or healthcare will be next, since this was a great achievement of the government to sucessfully save the automobile industry. Just look what we can do.
Before they get their mitts on any other nationalization of industry, they need to put up or shut up, and proove that anything they control can succeed....something...anything...name just one thing........
